£2,299 is not a race number. It is a week that has been organised around you.
Monster is a premium event and we would rather explain the price than apologise for it. Below is everything your entry covers, and everything it does not.
First, the shape of every day
Every day has the same structure, and it is the structure that makes seven consecutive days possible
- Morning
- Breakfast at your hotel, then a rider briefing covering the day’s route, the weather, the feed station locations and anything you need to know
- The stage
- You head out following the GPX route, with support available throughout. On cycling days you pass three fully stocked feed stations, and the middle one serves hot food
- Arrival
- Your main bag is already in your hotel room, moved there while you were riding
- Evening
- Shower, recover, secure bike storage for your bike, dinner with the group, then ready for the next morning’s briefing
You do not carry luggage, book hotels, find dinner, or work out where to eat mid-stage. That is the product.
Eight categories
Everything your entry covers
01
Before you arrive
- A base training plan. Every participant receives one, designed to give your preparation structure and make sure you are ready for the demands of seven consecutive days.
- GPX files for every stage, well before the event, so you can load the routes onto your bike computer or watch before you travel.
- A pre-event pack with briefing notes.
- A detailed participant guide covering travel, accommodation, kit recommendations, route information and event timings.
- A direct line to the event team for questions before you travel.
02
Accommodation
- Six nights of hotel accommodation, on a twin-share basis as standard.
- Three of those nights are in four-star spa hotels. After a long day on the road you have what you need to rest and recover properly.
- Secure bike storage at every overnight stop.
- Single occupancy is available as a supplement, subject to availability.
03
Food and drink
- Breakfast, lunch and dinner every day, plus snacks.
- Three fully stocked feed stations on every cycling stage, with drinks, snacks and energy food.
- Hot food at the middle feed station on every cycling stage, so you can properly refuel before the second half of the day.
- Dinner with the group every evening. This turns out to be one of the parts participants remember most.
- Most dietary requirements and food allergies catered for. Tell us when you register and our catering team will make sure suitable meals and snacks are available all week.
04
Baggage and logistics
- Daily baggage transfer. Your main bag is moved to each overnight stop and placed in your room before you arrive.
- Luggage moved during the Loch Ness swim, so your main bag is in your room by the time you are out of the water.
- Transition bag collection after the swim.
05
On the road
- Full mechanical support. Our event mechanic travels with the group and carries a range of tools and spare parts.
- Support vehicles on the route throughout every stage.
- Daily rider briefings covering the route, the weather, feed station locations and safety information.
- GPS tracking for every participant, all week.
- Signposting at key locations including feed stations.
06
Safety and medical
- Full medical support throughout the week, including a dedicated paramedic travelling with the group.
- A fully supported swim: kayaks, paddleboards, a dedicated safety boat and shore-based medical cover, on a marked 500-metre course close to the shoreline.
- Route tracking, so if you leave the planned route our team can see it and contact or assist you.
07
Your kit
- A Monster jersey.
- A GPS tracker for the week.
08
The finish
- A commemorative finisher medal.
- A finisher T-shirt.
- A finish celebration with food and drink, shared with fellow participants, friends and family.
- Friends and family welcome at the finish.
The crew
The people who travel with you

Monster’s most repeated piece of feedback is not about the route. It is about the team. The same crew travels the length of Britain with you, and by Wednesday they know your name, your bike and how you take your coffee.
- The event director, who runs the daily briefings and makes the weather calls.
- A dedicated event mechanic, travelling with the group with tools and spare parts.
- A paramedic, with the group every day of the week.
- Feed station and support vehicle crew, who leapfrog the route ahead of you.
- A baggage team, who move your bag while you ride.
- Water safety crew for the Loch Ness swim: kayaks, paddleboards and a safety boat.
