It is a journey, not a lap.
You are not returning to a start line. Every day you are further south and closer to London. By Saturday you are 1,055km from where you began, at the other end of the country.
Seven days. Three disciplines. 1,055km from Loch Ness to London.
The UK’s ultimate supported multi-sport challenge.

Monster Triathlon is a fully supported seven-day journey across Britain. It opens with a 5km swim in Loch Ness, rides south for five days and finishes with a 50km run along the Thames into London.
You take it on one stage at a time. Your accommodation, your meals, your baggage, your mechanical support and your medical cover are handled across the week. Your job is to keep moving south.
Seven stages. One complete challenge.

The swim and the cycling stages are not timed. The 2027 final run features chip timing, but completion and the shared experience are the point. Groups form at different speeds and nobody is racing you.
03
We handle the logistics. You still have to ride 1,000km in five days. Both of those things are true at the same time, and we would rather say so.

A Monster entry is not a race number. It is a week that has been organised around you.
“It’s not a race and the camaraderie amongst the group was fantastic. Support from Sam and the team was second to none.”
“This is a social event, unlike other single day long distance triathlons.”
“I was 62 when I did it and not fast as a swimmer or cyclist but never felt left behind.”
